Thiru is a registered professional engineer with over 10 years of experience working on instrumentation & control projects in the refining & petrochemical industries. This includes a 2 year work assignment as Plant Engineer at a refinery doing front-end engineering work.
Thiru received his Bachelor of Engineering degree (Instrumentation & Control) from University of Madras in 2002 and moved to Canada in 2003 to pursue his Master’s degree. He received his Master of Science degree (Electrical Engineering) from University of Saskatchewan in 2006 and has been working with Langtree Controls Ltd since 2007.
