J.X. (Jonathan) Wong, P. Eng.
|
Jon was born in Jamaica and moved to Canada in 1974. He received his Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University in 1978. Four years later (1982) he earned his Master of Engineering from McMaster University. In 1987, Jon completed a Master of Science (Computer Science) from McMaster University.
From 1980-1988, Jon worked as a Research Engineer for Environment Canada in Burlington, Ontario. From 1988-1992, he worked as a Senior Controls Engineer for Paton Controls Ltd. in Sarnia, ON. In 1992, he and two partners formed Langtree Controls Ltd. where he is currently a lead engineer on numerous I&E projects in petrochemical and food processing plants.
Jon is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

H. Noel Lambe, P.Eng.
|
Noel was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and received a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Memorial University in 1982. He spent his formative years with Imperial Oil Limited in Sarnia, ON as an Instrument and Electrical Engineer. From 1987 to 1988, he lived in Elmira, ON where he was a Senior Electrical Engineer with Uniroyal Chemical working on DCS upgrade projects. In 1988, he returned to Sarnia to work with Paton Controls Ltd. as a Senior Controls Engineer. He led several project design teams on control system upgrade projects in the petrochemical and food and beverage industries over the next four years. In 1992, he and two partners formed Langtree Controls Ltd. where he has been leading projects across North America ever since.
Noel is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and an active member of the Sarnia section of the Instrument Society of America.

Craig Allen, P. Eng.
|
Craig has over 20 years of Control and Automation experience in the chemical, petrochemical and steel sectors. He started his career as an automation engineer for Dofasco. He then moved back to the Sarnia area and worked 8 years for CIL/ICI in their Ammonia Production Facility in the role as Process Control Engineer and then Process Control Engineering Supervisor. Craig joined Langtree in 1996 and became a partner in 1998. Craig has led many different Process Control/Automation projects in the Petrochemical Industry.
Craig received a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from McMaster University in 1985. He is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

David A. Woodill, P. Eng., P.E.
|
Dave was born in Oshawa, ON and received a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Ryerson Polytechnical University in 1993. The majority of his career has been with Langtree Controls Ltd. starting as a Jr. Engineer in 1994 and working up to be a Jr. Partner. Dave has worked on many different projects from the Food and Beverage to Petrochemical/Refinery. Dave has also spent several years working at different manufacturing sites as a technical support person for their control systems as well as a project coordinator for capital projects.
Dave is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and an active member of the Sarnia section of the Instrument Society of America.
Dave also participates in the Engineer in Residence Program with the PEO and enjoys the challenge of helping young children learn more about science and engineering.

Zoran Pisic, B. Eng.
|
Zoran was born in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Military Technical Academy (VTA – Yugoslavia ) in 1992. From 1992 to 1998, he gained valuable engineering experience. He published technical papers and presented them at two different technical conferences. In 1998, he immigrated to Canada finding his home in Sarnia, ON . He gained his first Canadian engineering experience with Tecsar Inc. in Sarnia. He joined Langtree Controls Ltd. in 1998. Since then, Zoran has worked on many different projects from the Food and Beverage to Petrochemical /Refinery industries.
Zoran has been a valued member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers since 1995.

Alpesh Patel, P. Eng.
|
Alpesh was born in India and received a Bachelor of Engineering (Instrumentation & Control) from Gujarat University in 1989 and then an MBA (Finance) from South Gujarat University. He started his career as an Instrument Engineer with Reliance Industries in India where he was employed for six years. From 1995 to 2000, he worked for Sabic, Saudi Arabia as a Control System Engineer and then as a Process Control Supervisor. In 2000, he immigrated to Canada and joined Langtree Controls. Since then he has worked his way up to become a Jr. Partner. Alpesh has over 17 years of experience working on many different projects in the Petrochemical, Refinery and Oil / Gas sectors.
Alpesh is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and an active member of the Sarnia section of the ISA.

Vipul Bhavsar, B. Eng.
|
Vipul was born in India and received a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Control from Gujarat University in 1990. Six years later, he earned his Diploma in Management from All India Management Association (AIMA).
Vipul started his career as a Project Engineer with Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd in India, where he worked for one year. From 1991 to 1997, he worked for Fisher-Rosemount (India) Limited as a Project Engineer. In 1997, he immigrated to Canada and joined Langtree Controls. Since then he has worked his way up to become a project manager to lead various I&E projects in North America. Vipul has over 16 years of experience in design and project engineering for Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power, Fertilizer, Water Treatment and Cement industries.
Vipul has contributed to the Instrument Engineers’ Handbook, 3rd Edition, Process Software and Digital Networks, by Bela G. Liptak, and the Instrument Engineers’ Handbook, 4th Edition, Process Control and Optimization, by Bela G. Liptak.

Ian Reavill, P.Eng.
|
Ian has over 30 years of Control and Automation experience in the Petrochemical and Food & Beverage sectors. He started his career as an Instrument Engineer for Esso Chemical in Sarnia. He became an Application Engineer, also for Esso, after he received a M.Sc. in Advanced Control. He then moved to London area and worked 9 years for Labatt’s in the Engineering Dept. as a Project Engineer in the Instrument and Electrical areas at the breweries across Canada.
Ian joined Langtree in 1995. Ian has led many different Electrical, Process Control and Automation projects in the Petrochemical Industry. He has also been a resident contract engineer for a number of clients.
Ian received a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from McMaster University in 1976. He received a Master in Science (Process Control) from University of Alberta in 1981. He is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
