Langtree participates in many community events:

• yearly sponsor and participant in the Relay For Life which raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society
• yearly sponsors of boys' and girls' soccer teams
• yearly sponsors of girls' fastball team
• proud yearly sponsor of  Pizzafest  where proceeds go to the local MS chapter
• over 5000 cans of food collected to date to help the Salvation Army with their efforts
• Engineer in Residence Program at the  Elementary level
• Robotics program at the Elementary level
